Hard drive?

im not sure on why this happened, could be that the hard disk is on its way out, ive seen that happen before where it can not find anything! as for data recovery try this out - http://www.pcinspector.de/file_recovery/uk/welcome.htm its a free piece of software that i used to use. hope it will help!
