Do you really think you can "spoil" a baby?
Of course you are entitled to your opinion and they are your kids and you can just tell everyone to shut up and mind their own business, but I have to say that everyone I know or have known over the years who constantly hold thier baby like that are doing them harm. When they do p them to someone else or put them down, they scream and the mom picks them up again. (Yes that is spoiling and it is setting the stage for everything else...the child learns their scream gets the result of what they want). Also, if you hold them all the time they do not get to learn to explore the world. They will crall later, sit later, walk later and learn less. They will not learn confidence in you or themselves...you won't be able to learve them with a sitter or anyone because they will need to be with you and will scream bloody murder if you try to leave them. All this IS true, but in the end, they are your kids and you will spoil them or not as you want and nobody can do anything about it. I just think you should stop being stubborn about it though and think how you are hurting your baby.
