I want to go on the pill because my periods are realy painfull how do i go about egtting it?

i dont want to tell my parents because my sister asked them for it once for similar reasons and they did not believe her and thought it was for , instead they now regularly buy her condoms (very embarring). So i am going to ring the doctors but i am embarred and i dont know what to say. thanx for helping.
