Why is it OK to steal money from someone if they "can afford it"?

Kensurs-it's always been steal from the rich (even though that isn't rich by any means) just like the earned income credit. Someone pays in $4000 in taxes and the government sends back a check for $6500. I for one am sick of paying so much in taxes to cover the people not paying any at all.
