All Faiths - Christians, Jews, Muslims, etc.....Unveiling of the Arc of the Covenant?
There is a certain account, in the book of Luke (16:19-31), regarding Lazarus & the rich man. The rich man (who is in hell) is begging Abraham to send Lazarus (who was in heaven) to the rich man's brothers house, and warn them about "this place of torment" (verse 28). He goes on in verse 30 to say, "No, father Abraham; but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. And he (Abraham) said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead." Now what good would finding the Ark of the Covenant do in these modern times? People wouldn't believe it, even if someone came back from the dead and pronounced it authentic. Just look at all the answers you have here so far. Many say it's false...and are probably correct in saying so. There are certain people that see Jesus in a tuna fish sandwich too, and make it a shrine (remember, back a few years ago...they even tried to sell it on e-bay!). No, if we need these kinds of "proofs" to show the world that our faith is real, it's no longer faith. God proves Himself. He doesn't need an Ark to do that for Him. That's why He left His Word behind. And that's why He sent His Son. We are His living Testaments. <*)))><
