Is my friend really ? ?

Ok so my guy friend told some people he was gay. So the other night I had a sleepover with him and my two friends. He kept kissing and cuddling with them and kept saying he was just kidding and he wasn't attracted to them at all. But he always acts straight. If you met him you would have no idea he was gay. But he always pretends to be attracted to girls and calls other girls hot and kiss them and snuggle with them. Is this just a really good cover up or is this a lie to get girls? He never seems to be attracted to other guys one bit. Like, he never takes a second glance at them. I'm confused and some of my other friends are suspicious too.
