Infant and Toddler circle time activtivies?

When i worked w/ two year olds, i taught them their names at circle time every morning. i put out carpet squares and put their names on them (their names were on a card) and i would make them find their carpet. Then we would do attendence with the cards, I would say "who's name is this?" and when they answered i would sayb "are you at home, or at school?" and they would tell me! It was cute and they learned to recognize their names fast :)
