The archies....?

The Archies were comic book characters, later made into a Saturday morning cartoon, in the cartoon they formed a band. The Archies did record these songs and release them, but there was no real life Archies band, the vocals were done by Ron Dante, with studio musicians and singers backing him up. The song Sugar Sugar was written by Andy Kim - the same guy who did Rock Me Gently.
